Privacy Policy

Who we are

Web Dev Heroes Ltd (“we”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17288019. We build bespoke websites, web portals and apps. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, webdevheroes.io, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why

Project enquiry form. When you use the “Start your project” form we collect your name, email address and the project details you choose to share. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you initiate, and taking steps prior to entering a contract.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Analytics data is aggregated and does not directly identify you. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Who processes your data

Enquiry emails are delivered via Resend (our email delivery provider) to our company inbox. Site analytics are processed by Google. Both act as processors under their own data-processing agreements. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, and we do not use it for marketing lists.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any project that follows, then reviewed and deleted when no longer required. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, object to our processing, or request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact form. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to distinguish visitors; see Google’s privacy documentation for details.
